Day 1 : Arrival Hanoi Vietnam

Our English speaking guide will meet and welcome you at Noi Bai international airport. You then move to Hanoi downtown for the hotel check-in. You stay the first night at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2 : Hanoi full day city tour (B)

After breakfast, you meet your guide at your hotel and depart on tour to visit Hanoi with the following highlights: The Temple of Literature - Vietnam's first university, which was constructed in 1070 with the gardens and well-preserved architecture offering a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam's past.

You then have a 20-minute drive out of town to visit the serene Museum of Ethnology, where you can observe Vietnam's diverse culture through the Museum's unique presentation of artifacts and dress used in daily life. (Museum of Ethnology is closed on Mondays).

Also you get to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest of all pagodas in Hanoi - located beside the dazzling West Lake. Continuing to visit Quan Thanh Temple, with its spacious and charming landscape helps highlight the ancient and romantic beauty of this area. Quan Thanh Temple is dedicated to Saint Huyen Thien Tran Vu, who guarded and administered the north of the country.

Titov Beach, Halong Bay

You drive back to central Hanoi for a walking tour through the Old Quarter to enjoy the bustling local life. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It's a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities all around you. Enjoy a water puppet show & cyclo tour.

You stay overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 3 : Excursion to Halong Bay and Stay overnight on Board (B,L,D)

Note: Transfer Hanoi - Halong - Hanoi by private car without guide

After breakfast at the hotel, you are departing for one of the most magnificent scenic destinations in the world, Halong Bay. Halong Bay covers 577 square miles filled with more than 3,000 limestone "peaks" or karsts that jut from the deep blue water as far as the eye can see.

Upon arrival, you are going to get on a Junk cruising around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch, passing Dog island, Incense Urn island, Ga Choi island, Finger island, Hoa Cuong Island and Surprise Cave and enjoy short swimming at Titov beach (if weather is nice enough).

You have a nice dinner on board and enjoy the night fishing. You have a memorable overnight stay on board.

Day 4 : Halong Bay Cruise – Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City (B,brunch)

Rising to the sound of lapping bay water, you can enjoy an early morning dip followed by breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you can relax while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay. After breakfast, you are going to explore Sung Sot cave, swim and relax. You then cruise back to the jetty while brunch is served. Along the way you will see more of the fascinating formations.

After the tour, you come back Hanoi for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City (formerly named as Saigon) in the late afternoon.

You do the hotel check-in and stay overnight in Saigon.

Day 5 : Cu Chi tunnels – Saigon city tour (B)

You have a nice breakfast at the hotel. Then at 8 a.m, you first visit Cu Chi tunnels - an immense network of connecting underground tunnels dating back the 1960s during the war against the American army;

You get back the city for lunch. After lunch, you come to see Notre Dame Cathedral in the heart of Saigon's government quarter. This building is of neo-Romanesque architecture with two high square towers and iron spires. Another attraction is the Central Post Office which is French-style designed, and the City Hall, known as "Hotel de Ville," is typical of the French architecture that would be seen in any village in France;

During the day, you are also visiting the War Remnants Museum, featuring collections of weapons and photographs from the two Indochine wars. Our last stop is Ben Thanh market, the biggest whole sales market in Ho Chi Minh city;

You stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 6 : Mekong delta full day tour (B)

Today, you are touring to My Tho, the capital of Tien Giang Province. Situated on the Mekong River, 75 kilometers southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, the city is surrounded by orchards and rice fields, which produce grain for the entire country.

You then visit one or two of the islands that produce traditional handcrafts, coconut candy and bee farms. You get to the Vinh Trang Pagoda, the oldest one in the delta on your boat trip on the Mekong River.

You return to Ho Chi Minh City to do the hotel check-in & stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 7 : Ho Chi Minh City Departure (B)

After breakfast, you transfer to the airport for your home flight with memorable days with 3959 Miles Experience.
