Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

Arrive in Delhi international airport where our representative will meet you and assist you to your hotel. Check in at the hotel. Delhi is a city that bridges two different worlds. Old Delhi, once the capital of Islamic India, is a labyrinth of narrow lanes lined with crumbling havelis and formidable mosques. In contrast, the imperial city of New Delhi created by the British Raj is composed of spacious, tree-lined avenues and imposing government buildings. Delhi has been the seat of power for several rulers and many empires for about a millennium. Many a times the city was built, destroyed and then rebuilt here. Interestingly, a number of Delhi's rulers played a dual role, first as destroyers and then as creators. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 : Delhi

Breakfast in the hotel, later a city tour of Delhi visiting Jama Mosque, Red fort, India Gate, Humayun's tomb, Qutub Minar. Etc. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 : Delhi – Varanasi

Breakfast in the hotel, later transfer to the airport to board the flight Varanasi. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Evening enjoy an aarti on the banks of river Ganges Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 : Varanasi

Early morning boat ride on river Ganges, later a half day sightseeing tour of Varanasi visiting BHU, Bharat Mata temple, New vishwanath temple, Durga Mandir, Tulsi Manas etc. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 : Varanasi – Khajuraho

Breakfast in the hotel, later transfer to the airport to board the flight to Khajuraho. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 : Khajuraho – Orchha – Jhansi (Drive 175 Kms), Jhansi – Agra

Breakfast in the hotel. Later visit Western/Eastern group of temples. Drive to Jhansi enroute visit Orchha. Upon arrival in Jhansi board the train to Agra. Reach Agra and check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 : Agra

Early morning visit Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal is the eternal of love, built in white marble by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his Emperor Mumtaz Mahal. A total of 20,000 workmen worked for 22 years to complete this magnificent monument. Also visit Agra fort and itmad-ud-daullha. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 : Agra – Jaipur (245 Kms drive)

Breakfast in the hotel, later drive to Jaipur enroute visit Fatehpur sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri is a fascinating ghost city built in the 16th century, 37 km from Agra.

This historic site was founded by Akbar the great, who at 26 years did not have a heir. He went to a saint, Shaikh Salim Chishti who lived in a city called Sikri. His blessing gave Akbar 3 sons. As a gesture, Akbar built a whole new city in Sikri. It was built between 1569 and 1585 and was intended to be the joint capital with Agra, but was soon deserted because the water system could not support any residents. It remained untouched for over 400 years now and its palaces are a remainder of the extravagance of the Mughals.
Upon arrival in Jaipur check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9 : Jaipur

Breakfast in the hotel.
Morning visit Amber Fort. Amber, built by Man Singh, embodies the Rajput belief that the fort symbolises the strength of the King. Its commanding view, sheer walls and rock face, and the curved route that leads to the palaces within, all point to concern with security and defence. Afternoon proceed for half day city tour of Jaipur visiting Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Albert Hall. Here you will see the Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) with its incredible facade of balconies and pierced screens, the Jantar Mantar (the Observatory), and the City Palace Musuem. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10 : Jaipur – Delhi (265 Kms drive)

Breakfast in the hotel, later drive to Delhi and check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free for individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11 : Delhi – Chennai

Early morning transfer to the airport to board the flight to Chennai. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12 : Chennai – Mahabalipuram (50 Kms drive)

Arrive at Chennai airport and transfer to the Mamallapuram. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13 : Mahabalipuram

Breakfast in the hotel, later a sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram visiting shore temples, five rathas, Arjuna's Penance, etc. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 14 : Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (100 Kms drive)

Breakfast in the hotel, later a sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram visiting shore temples, five rathas, Arjuna's Penance, etc., later drive to Pondicherry. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 15 : Pondicherry

Breakfast in the hotel, later a sightseeing tour of Pondicherry visiting Auroville, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Botanical Garden, Church, Temple, Beaches etc. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 16 : Pondicherry – Kumbakonam (175 Kms drive)

Breakfast in the hotel, later drive to Kumbakonam and check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 17 : Kumbakonam – Madurai (190 Kms drive)

Breakfast in the hotel, A sightseeing tour of Tanjore visiting The Brihadeshwara Temple also known as The Big Temple, The Rajah's Palace also known as the Tanjore Palace.

Drive to Madurai. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Visit Thirumalai Nayak Mahal palace which was partially destroyed, later in the evening you will be transfered to the Sri Meenakshi temple by an auto-rickshaw to see the evening Aarti. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 18 : Madurai

Breakfast in the hotel, visit the Sri Meenakshi Sundareswarar temple, which will be an opportunity to discover the Hindu mythology and the foundations of the world's oldest religion. Continue with a visit to the Gandhi Museum. Free afternoon. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 19 : Madurai – Kovalam (307 Kms drive)

Breakfast in the hotel, later drive to Kovalam. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 20 : Kovalam

Breakfast in the hotel, later a half day sightseeing tour of Trivandrum. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 21 : Kovalam – Alleppey (152 Kms drive)

Breakfast in the hotel, later drive to Alleppey. Check in at the houseboat and enjoy sailing through the backwater of Kerala. Overnight at the houseboat.

Day 22 : Alleppey – Thekkady (140 Kms drive)

Morning after breakfast disembark the houseboat and drive to Thekkady. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 23 : Thekkady

Breakfast in the hotel. Later a tour of spice plantation and a boat ride on lake periyar. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 24 : Thekkady – Cochin (160 Kms drive)

Breakfast in the hotel, later drive to Cochin. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Evening enjoy Kathakali dance show. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 25 : Cochin (Departure)

In time transfer to the airport to board the flight to onward destination.
